I downloaded the update from 2.0 to 2.1 and now there is a 2.2. I haven't messed with it in a while as I have been doing more live work and not really using my computer for much more than running the editors for the motif. I plan on buying the new metal foundry expansion pack and updating to 2.2 and seeing if I can at least get something from that. -- Damon Fibraio screen names -- aol: dfibraio...msn dfibraio@xxxxxxxxxxxx skype: dfibraio Find me on facebook as Damon fibraio or twitter as dfibraio personal music site: http://www.keyboardguy.com. I just upgraded from EZDrummer a month or so, when I installed it I did a clean install, as it just worked out that way, and all works like expected. When I load the program it loads the last sdx or EZX that I installed, in my case this is the NY Allair SDX. I just click the name of the drum kit on the top and it gives me a context menu with all the kits installed much like EZdrummer, then I press enter on the 1 I want, and it loads... My wife says that there are arrows next to each kit piece, and when she clicks the arrow I get a drop down menu with other pieces like different snares kicks etc. I haven't messed with the mixer or anything, haven't had time to play with it as much... I would of liked for sd to come with a template for sonar that's premixed; ezdrummer came with one and it made things way easier to deal with lol... What exactly is the problem with your version? Did you do an upgrade from 2.0 or did you reinstall the whole thing. I'm using 2.10 and don't seem to have problems with it... I think there is slightly better access in superior drummer than bfd 2.0, but that being said, both are giving headaches. I bought bfd 2 and also have superior drummer and when superior drummer 2.0 came out, it was usable, but they broke things in 2.1 and above in regards to access, so now I am kind of unsure what to do with either at this point. I wish I could give more info. -- Damon Fibraio screen names -- aol: dfibraio...msn dfibraio@xxxxxxxxxxxx skype: dfibraio Find me on facebook as Damon fibraio or twitter as dfibraio personal music site: http://www.keyboardguy.com. I've read great reviews about both and I've seen both mentioned on this list. Like all of you know plugins are expensive so I'm very careful to buy the wrong product. I know there's hsc sets for bfd but i know they won't work with bfd2 and I read that there are some accessibility issues with the new superior drummer. Is there anyone who works with the latest version of one of these 2 products who could give me the final push to decide wich one to buy? I would also in this message want to thank everyone who's been helping me get setup during the last month or so. I really appreciate it and hope to be of some help to one of you at some point.
