Phil: She can play midi files in media player so there must be something on the
onboard soundcard. Seems it should show up. John

John, if your friend doesn't have any MIDI devices then, there won't be any
MIDI ports available.

Hi: a friend of mine downloaded the sonar 7 demo on a laptop. When she
tries to select midiports in the options menu, there are none to select. She
basicly has a soundcard. Shouldn't it show up in the port selections? John

Yes, just run the package installer from our CD. If you have GOODFEEL
3.0 and you want to use the Lime Aloud, JAWS-based access method to Lime, send
us your JAWS Serial Number and we will return a Lime Aloud Authorization Code.
Or maybe you already have one? The Lime installer will prompt you only once for
this auth code and, if you don't enter it, the installer will not nag you. Many
customers are sighted and have no need for Lime Aloud so the installer does not
insist.

Well, if you use the installation program that comes on the CD, it will
install sharpeye first, then lime, and then goodfeel. You should probably do it
in the same order if you have to install them manually.
