When I try to import audio, I don't seee OMF as an option. I do see it
as an option for exproting. Should I have checked something when I
installed the program. Is it something I can correct retroactively?

Well, I think Sonar has been able to import .OMF since version 2.2. I
always noticed the .OMF
option when installing Sonar and various patches in the "file
associations" dialog box.  I also
noticed that by default, that checkbox isn't checked.

According to that article, they have improved .OMF support in the latest
4.2 release.  I imported a
wave file. I then exported it as a .OMF2 file. I closed the project,
found the .OMF file and
pressed enter on it. Sonar immediately asked me for the tempo of the
file and whither I wanted to
store the audio in it's own folder or not? I also noticed that you can
import and export .AIF
files. Could be useful if the people you working with are using Pro
Tools on a MAC. Mind you, may
be best to stick with wave files with time stamping for that one.
