Hi All,
I have used Sornar four through eight until retiring in 2011. I then
started saving up cash to upgrade to 8.5.3 and Cakewalk 8.8 and upgrade my
JAWS 10.00 to 17.2. That hurtle was finally achieved a month ago. However,
I am experience problems not encountered before.
Maybe some are because I might need new JAWS scripts or JAWS 17 won't work
with Cakewalk 8.8. I certainly hope this is not the case.
So here are the issues.
1. After open a new project, I use to be able to arrow down to a
specific track, (usually I used 17 through 24 since I did not u se the midi
ones.) while arrowing down, a click could beheard to indicate the tracks
were being passed. This is not happening now.
2. I tried Arrowing down in the default project view and pressing
enter on a track even though no speaking or clicking was indicating the
track was there. Then pressed the letter a to arm the track.
3. Once a short churp was heard when the track was armed. Now there
is not.
4. I tried pressing f6 before opening a project and a few times after
opeing a new project which made no difference.
5. I am hoping one of the Sonar and Cakewalk wizards here can help. I
had previously used Sornar for around ten years and recorded many student
performances at our school with great succss. Now I am feeling a bit silly
not understanding what is wrong.
