From what I understand the only difference is the tutorial that CakeTalking includes with it. The keyboard shortcuts are different for both, and from what I've seen caketalking provides more response to user interaction and seems more stable. If you've used sonar a lot and know it well, you might do OK with the JSonar scripts, if you are getting started or like help along the way, then CT is right for you.
