I just turned off the keyboard and restarted it, and it seems to have cleared
the problem. I found in the drum track that whoever put the file together was
using double kicks, double toms, etc.

You tried the MIDI file on a different patch?

Hmm, I wonder if the affect is hard coded into the file. What are you
using to playback the MIDI data?

I'm using midi files from the internet. The file sounds like it has
some type of E.Q. effect, everything sounds extra basey, and one of the tracks,
which is a sound effect, seems to have some type of chorus effect on it or
something. I've tried deleting all controlers, etc, but it hasn't helped much.
Any ideas?
