Hi listers: I'm doing some live jaz work with the b4 with two keyboards and a pedal unit; however, I need a controller unit to change various settings on the fly and don't feel like buying the edirol or motif es x. are there any small (handheld size) units I could insert between the keyboard and my midi port to accomplish this goal? Thanks in advance. I remember quite a while ago that he'd shared some of those on the list in response to a similar question i'd posted. Although I can't remember them off the top of my head. ----- Original Message ----- From: Greg Brayton To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, March 14, 2010 7:29 AM Subject: [ddots-l] new synth follow up Bryan I have to tell you that you got me going on this soft synth stuff awhile back, and I've never regretted it. The things you said about stineberg hyppersonic2 caused me to run right out and get it. I still use it alot. About a year and a half ago I picked up Omnisphere and although the accessibility is limmited, I love it, including many of the factory presets you find so troublesome. All this to say, I'm back for another of your clinicks. Please tell us what you do think is worth getting hold of, that is if you think there is something. Of course I want to hear from anyone on this topic, but Bryan is the one who really made me see that this was the way, for me, at least to get further faster in my music production.
