ok Phil,
my fw is two years old. I thought that the latest firmware is only for sonar8.
I go on your website. Thank you!

Did you upgrade the firmware on the unit? You need to do that as older
firmware will drop out MIDI ports on the control surface etc. Note: even if
you have purchased a brand new FW-1884, it won't contain the latest firmware.
Was out training a client a couple of days a go and the first thing I did was
upgrade the firmware in the unit. You will find the latest firmware, drivers
and control surface for the unit on my website. You can access all of that
from the "accessibility Training" page.

    Hi everybody,
I have a strange problem with the fw1884 and sonar6 or 7. Sometimes when I
put my computer on, it seems that Sonar doesn't find the contact to the
controll surface. I must delete it and install it again through the menu
controll surface. But it doesn't work every time. Sometimes I must reinstall
the drivers for sonar. Do you have an idea?
    Thank you
    J-P
