I did the audio interface first, it worked, so I left it at that...

Of which driver, the one for the comp's soundcard, or for the audio interface?

I recently had a similar problem with my Toshiba lappie...

A reinstallation of the drivers seemed to do the trick!

      Hello,

I recently installed a driver for my new audio interface. Now, when I
restart my computer, I get a message that says something like "RealTech E
Access Violation." When I press Okay, I get another message that says something
like " RealTech rthdcpl violation." I still get sound, but these two error
messages pop up every time I restart my computer.

      Any thoughts?
