In order to run CT you will need to have your JFW authorised with your serial number. Other wise, it won't authorise properly as it checks the authorisation that you put in, against your serial number.

Hi,

I tried re-installing caketalking 7, but the only place it offered to let me install it was in jaws 10.0! So I went ahead and did that, as I'm planning to upgrade to it anyways when its out of beta. I figured what I had to do wouldn't take that long so Ifired up sonar 7.2 only to be told that i had no authorization to use caketalking, even though I entered my serial number and all. Now what can I do?

Any ideas are welcome. That's one of the main reasons I don't usually employ jaws as my everyday screen reading solution!

Maybe you will have to reinstall CT?

Subject: [ddots-l] caketalking seems to have disappeared!!

Hi Folks,
Its been a few weeks since I've used my sonar 7.2, and until just recently I've used jaws only for sonar projects, but caketalking seems to have disappeared from my jaws 7.10 environment. I recently installed j-tunes and i-tunes 8. Before I purchased the latest j-tunes, I had tried the previous version's demo, and that did get installed into Jaws 7.10, though the newest j-tunes installed in my jaws 8.0 environment. I had to download and install the beta version of jaws 10 to get full j-tunes functionality, though, so I did, but can only run that in demo mode. That's all I have done with jaws, but today, needing to get some sonar work done on an old project, none of the caketalking prompts work. I don't hear, for example, now wait till your screen settles down, etc. I pressed insert q, which I believe is supposed to tell you what scripts might be active and it says default configuration, or some such verbiage. So, what am I to do to make caketalking once again greet me when I fire up sonar 7.2? Must I reinstall caketalking, or is there a way in jaws to load it? Any help is anticipated with baited breath, and is greatfully received!
Thanks,
Rusty
