I would uninstall and reinstall the product, it should work fine.
Make sure you remove any files that are left over after the uninstall, like
the xln audio folder in program files or wherever you install it. Also,
remove anything from either xln or addictive drums in your documents folder,
as that's where the user presets are stored.

The person that installed Adictive Drums may have installed the demo first.
My wife, who is sighted was able to click the other parts of the drum kit
which gave those parts. I'd like to not have her need to do that everytime
I load those drums.

That's strange, the full vst plays them all after they're installed. Are you
waiting for a bit, it does take a bit to load;
What kind of system do you have? Do you have the latest version?
Di you install over a demo?
