Do you need drum pads to use the session drummer?

You need to be in the session drummer window first. bring up the synthrack
view and arrow to the session drummer plug name column. press enter and you'll
be in the session drummer window where you can press F4 for options.

Subject: [ddots-l] Using Session Drummer
I've recently installed Sonar 6 on my blind friend's computer. We want to
work with the Session Drummer, but haven't figured out how to get that going.
The "Supported Soft Synths" document in the Caketalking tutorials says to use
the "F4 Options Dialog," but when we press F4 in the Session Drummer track it
brings up the Track Pane Options, which doesn't say anything about setting up
the Session Drummer drum pads. I'm baffled. Does anybody out there use
Session Drummer, and could you please advise us on it use within Sonar and CT 6?
Thanks,
Brian Packard
