[ddots-l] Uninterruptable Power Supply

Just a note to say I went with the following UPS unit from APC.
BE750G.
It runs about $100 US, gives me surge protection, multi-poll noise
filtering, voltage regulation, and can deliver a maximum 450 watts
or 750VA. That's enough to power my DAW, audio interface,
monitors, and a couple other things, and give 5-10 minutes battery
time if the power goes out, more than enough time to save
everything and shut down.
