Ok, thanks to Bryan Smart and a handy sighted person, we have determined that my problem is in Sonar somewhere, not with CakeTalking.
So, can anybody think of a reason why the Track Inspector won't update itself when you move, say, from track to bus pane, and try bringing up effects parameters of what you have patched on the bus?
