HI folks.I'm going to contact Cakewalk about this to see what they say, but in the meantime, I'm noticing that when I render something, exporting audio, my CPU is nowhere near to being fully used. According to Windows 7 Task Manager, CPU usage ranges between 30 and 40% during the rendering operation. Yes, i have the fast bounce option checked, and am usin the 64-bit engine.
I'm using Windows 7 64-bit, Sonar 8.5 x64, and a quad-core AMD processor, cranked up to about 3.9GHZ. 16 gb ram, solidstate drive, fast second hard drive etc.
Is there a way to tell Sonar to use as much of your CPU as possible? This is more of an issue if I'm mastering something large, say running 2 hours of 24-bit 96KHZ audio through several high quality plug-ins.
Any thoughts?
