Hi,
I have been using Reaper for about a year or so, and love it! I'm using it
all the time now to do both MIDI music and multitrack audio work, such as
promos for the Internet station I work with.
I agree with Chris about the Reaper Accessibility WIKI page,
www.reaperaccessibility.com/,
and also recommend getting hold of CAVI's audio courses, three of which are
related to Reaper. They're available for free at
http://wiki.cucat.org/index.php/Main/Audiogiveaway/.
In general, though, to start setting up your MIDI and audio devices, just go
to the Preferences menu with Control+P, and choose the devices you want in
the Audio section under Device (for Audio Devices) and MIDI Devices.
