OT post best acoustic drum soft synththat's great if you have the space for
them. I could get a kit into the studio. However, I would have to probably
put some other stuff away.

Get a real set. Like D W or Yamaha recording series. Some older grech sets
sound good. It's a lot more work to get a good drum sound from a real kit, but
I think the effert is worth it. I personally haven't found your soft synths or
electronic drums to sound really true. A lot of them are very passable but not,
by my standards. That is to say if you really want a true natural drum unless
you are going for a contemparry sound. I guess I'm just old school. However, so
much of everything is over processed today. Drums from hell sound O K for
samples. Some guys like them quite well. The roland V drums is another O K
choice. HTH.

Lots of you use things like DFH, EHZ Drummer, DFH Superior and the
like. What makes you choose your various weapons of choice. How much has to
do with accessibility, and how much has to do with the sound you get?I'm
looking for the best acoustic drum sets.
