Is rhapsody accessible? I browsed the site and couldn't figure out how too do much of anything on it.

Please pardon the off-topic. Thanks.

Phil, you'll need to check the settings in the snap to grid dialogue. If its set to "snap to zero crossings" then the now, from and through times will automatically move to the nearest zero point. Sometimes this is a good thing but if the zero point is too far away you can get some serious mistimings. Personally I switch it off. If you get any glitches you can do a short crossfade to eliminate them.

Gorden,

I thought cutting at zero crossings was necessary to avoid "pops & clicks". Yes, No? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gordon Kent" <dbmusic@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

It really is as simple as it looks. I personally never have a problem with zero crossings, but it depends on how fussy you want to get.

I've just installed sonar5.2, CT5.2 & the Tranzport. Everything is working fine(thanks for asking). Regarding Scrubbing audio with the Tranzport--is it really as simple as it appears? I mean, Wow, what a difference. I can't find anything on scrubbing with a control surface in the documentation, but it seems like all you do is Scrub with the Stop/Play/Wheel, set the F9&F10 points, select the region and edit as you like. Is that it? Anything else I should know? How about zero crossings--does that happen automatically when you set the F9&F10 from and thru points?

One other thing-when scrubbing, I get this weird noise over the audio-sounds like space aliens or something. Should I be getting that? Any suggestions?
