Phil, you'll need to check the settings in the snap to grid dialogue. If its set to "snap to zero crossings" then the now, from and through times will automatically move to the nearest zero point. Sometimes this is a good thing but if the zero point is too far away you can get some serious mistimings. Personally I switch it off.
