Yup! It happens to me quite a bit too. When this happens, I run NVDA and make sure I'm in the Jaws crash window and hit Alt C and then hit my Jaws shortcut key to restart it. This never happened on my Pantium 4 machine but happens very often on my Core 2 Duo machine. By the way, Same thing happens with CD Architect which is also a Sony software.
