If you know anything about read tape, then you should know that your request
for software that is accessible for you will take 2 terms if not three. The
reason why I say this is because if you don't talk to the person that will be
teaching about music technology, along with the disability access center or
whatever it is called there about the issues that you have, Also, might I
suggest if you have a laptop, put jaws and or win-eyes or should I say jaws
Sonar producer version 8.5 and cake talking, you'll be able to show that you
have the most accessible technology used by more blind people than Pro Tools.
If they are not using Pro Tools, you'll really have a hard time. I would also
suggest checking whether the disability access center may know of someone who
is sighted that has taken the courses that you're taking and they can be your
note taker for you as well as your scribe and assistant. I can tell you all of
these things really helped me. I'm glad to report that I passed the first 2
classes music 204 and music 205 with the letter grade of a. I hope that this
helps. While you are waiting, also please consider buying your books from
Amazon and also getting in touch with bookshare. I hope that this helps you.

  Hi,

Bill Machan, could you email me off list? I have a question and do not wish
to flud the list about it.

Well, possible could be answered here on list.

I'm taking classes, or rather will be taking classes at ACC North Ridg campus
in Austin pretty soon, and they do not have CakeTalk or Sonar there. They use
only macs in there recording classes, but I still wish to take the coruses.
Do you know hwo i could go buy probably getting them to get CT and sonar from
Dancing Dots for the school so I can do what they'd be doing in ProTools or any
of the other programs they use?

Next week, from 9 to 1, Monday through Friday I'll be in a recording workshop
there and if I like what they do there, I could start taking classes in the
fall.

The programs they use are not even compatible with Voiceover neither.

Do I refer someone from the campus to you?

Guys, how did you handel any thing like this when you whent to colege?

  Thanks!

  Dom
