I'm going to check that one out. Though I prefer to be completely independent,
I do have a cited music partner I can help with something like this. It would
be worth it from what I hear about the efficacy of this thing.

I don't know if it's accessible, but Slate Digital has a "virtual Microphone
System" VMS. They sell you a flat response microphone, and software that
claims to emulate many other classic microphones.
