Hi, Kelly,

As you probably know by now, the CakeTalking installer gives you the option
to install or not install under whichever versions of JAWS you have on your
machine. So, if you like, you can install CT under a select version of
JAWS.

David Pinto has designed CakeTalking not to conflict with HSC. If you find
otherwise, please let us know. Write to support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with any
specific technical questions. Of course, there are many nice people here
who are also ready to help as you have already seen.

I'm really happy you are going with CT and look forward to your questions
and reports of your experiences. One of the great strengths of CakeTalking
is that is comes with detailed tutorials and lots of online help. Be sure
to check that out. Press INSERT+H to bring up the online help. See Start |
Programs | CakeTalking 8.5 | Tutorial folder for shortcuts to the tutorial
documents.

In the setup folder, you'll find a document that helps you make all required
settings. There's one for XP, Vista and Windows7. Take the time to consult
them and at least read the "synopsis" that summarizes required settings.
Then check the 2ConfigureSONAR document. The first time you load SONAR with
the CT scripts running, be sure to press CONTROL+F12 as the document says.

Bill

Subject: [ddots-l] Installing CakeTalking in Place of JSonar

Hi,
After using JSonar for a number of years, I've decided to purchase
CakeTalking. (I in no way have anything against JSonar, I just thought it
was time for me to try something different.) When I receive the product, and
remove JSonar (I've been using it with version 11 of JFW, and plan on
installing it to work with version 10), is there anything special I need to
do with the various HSC files that come with JSonar? In other words, will
anything conflict with the CakeTalking installation?
   Thanks.

Yours Sincerely,
Kelly John Sapergia
