Have you ever owned the FW1884? That's what I'm using for my control surface
right now. I'm happy with it except for scrubbing. Are there any draw backs
to the elesis master control? Is it comparable to the FW in sound quality
and stability?

It's a combination surface and audio interface, not bad for the money and
works with all the major daw software.
