Dan,
I checked out another project I did and the setup appears the same to me, or
at least, I tried to make it that way. The input column's menu on an audio
track is a bit confusing to me, and maybe I should try reading the tutorial
yet again. There's none and then three other picks that look very similar to
my inexperienced self. On the old project's vocal audio tracks, the only
menu item that's checked appears to be in the last menu item or the choice
just above none, as this menu wraps around in Sonar. All the instrument
tracks are on asio m-lan stereo 1, and in the completed project, all the
audio is on 3. More thoughts?

Make sure you have the input selection correct. You may be able to hear the
sound but it will not record unless you have the input on the track selected
correctly.

Subject: [MoAccess] Voice not recording on audio track
I'm working with the Motif and Sonar and have a mic just going in to an old
Mackie mixing board which usually is fine. I've created an audio track and
it is armed and not muted. The mic sounds live enough in my ear phones, and
Motif sounds will record on to this track. However, the vocal isnt going
there isn't recording as far as I can tell, no peak level. Can anyone tell
me what I'm missing? thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.
