[ddots-l] External encoder problems in sonar

I'm having a new problem using Lame mp3 encoder in sonar 5.2. All I get is hiss--very loud hiss--when I convert a audio file to mp3 using lame. Now, thing is, I can encode files with lame without problems outside of sonar--using lame as a standalone app. When I do this I use the same lame executable module that sonar is set to use. But in sonar all I can encode is hiss. I reloaded all the encoder profiles, and reinstalled Lame and still, hiss.

Any ideas?
