[ddots-l] DXI & VST Removal

Greetings from Down Under....:)
Would like to get rid of some of my DXI & VST soft synths that I no longer
wish to use. And to stop them from coming up in the Insert/DXI Synth Menu
in Sonar.
Is it just a case of deleting the so named synths from the
Sonar/Shared Plug-ins/Shared DXI folder,
and ditto for where I have the VST Synths installed?
Or perhaps it is a little more complicated?
Maybe it is so simple, that I have just missed the "bleeding" obvious....:(
Please excuse the expletive....:)
