That's where I'm copying it...onto the midi track that is assigned to the audio
track of the soft synth.

you said that you copied it to the track where you have the soft synth
inserted and that is an audio track, so that won't store any midi data. you got
to copy the midi data to a midi track which output is assigned to your soft
synth.

    Hello All:

I'm trying to copy my kick from track 10 onto a midi track with a soft
synth inserted in it. After I do this, I try to edit events in the midi track
with the soft synth inserted in it, and jaws stops working. Everything seems to
freeze. When I try and change the duration in the search and replace dialogue
on the soft synth track is when the most problems seem to occur. Any ideas?

    Thanks.
