This prompts a question:
What audio restoration tools do we actually have access to? The Sound Forge click/crackle remover and noise reduction plug-ins are useful, but they've been around at least a decade.

iZotope were working on us getting access to RX, but that seems to have completely stalled or been shelved.

Have any of you tried any other professional restoration type tools?
