I have decided that, even though I love these things a lot, it's time
to divest myself of some very nice and mostly very accessible MIDI
gear in order to finance the move up to Native Instruments' Komplete
Kontrol Konsole. Here's what I have:
1. Keyboards
Yamaha Motif XF6, 61-note arranger workstation - this one comes with
two 1GB memory boards and the FireWire board installed, plus some
extra voices on a thumb drive that came with the "fully loaded"
package as purchased last summer. Instrument definitions available for
Sonar and QWS. See below for software that goes with it. Requested
price: $2,200, includes shipping.
Roland FA-06, 61-note keyboard, very nice, instrument definitions
available for Sonar and QWS, plus several additional voice and patch
modules obtained in the nearly two years since I bought it. Requested
price: $1,300, includes shipping.
Both keyboards are in virtual mint condition, always covered when not
in use, covers included, lived in a smoke-free environment, treated
like newborn babies.
These keyboards are ideal for single players, MIDI rigs, schools,
churches, homes, new learners, experienced performers, Essentially, if
you're looking for a full-featured, fully-tricked-out keyboard, these
are what you want to be playing on. The Roland is lightweight and good
for road work if you have a case for it, almost light enough to carry
in one of those backpack-type cases they make for it.
Note: Shipping may take a while after the deal to purchase is made
because these are big pieces, it's sometimes hard to find a correct
sized shipping box for pieces of these sizes and shapes, then I have
to call a carrier to come and pick them up.
2. Software
For the Yamaha Motif XF, I have licenses for the John Melas editors,
and some music composition software called Karma Motif, which is
semi-accessible, but it turns out that over 95% of what it can do can
be done from the Motif itself with just a little one-time setup.
3. Racks
One Yamaha Motif ES Rack with additional memory module installed, not
positive on just how much memory it contains, but I'll find out.
Requested price: $500 shipped.
Everything is set to USB MIDI. Drivers can be obtained from the Yamaha
or Roland Websites, or I can put them on a thumb drive or send them
via email or Dropbox link if required. What I don't know for sure is
if they work in Windows 10, but Windows 7 and Mac OS X are A-OK.
