That would certainly work.

Okay. So are you saying that I should use Jaws 10 for other applications
and use Jaws 8 specifically for Sonar?

Actually, if your computer's on the web, JAWS 10 navigates the web real
well.

Yes. That's why (at least for now until I can get some more
information, I'm just going to run jaws 8 when I want to use Sonar. In fact,
I'm seriously considering un-installing Jaws 10 (although I like having the
real speak solo voices for reading documents. But if something is not going to
work effectively for me then there's no point in having it; Right? Thank you
for your advice.

You might want to ask Dancing Dots if the scripts you have for Sonar
7 have ever been tested with JAWS 10. They may not be designed to work with
JAWS 10 since Sonar 8 came out before JAWS 10. Since Sonar 7 is no longer
available, it isn't reasonable to expect that CT for Sonar 7 would be updated
to work under JAWS 10. Follow?

Hi
The scripts you already have.
From memory, somewhere in the process it asks you which version of
jaws you want the scripts installed for.
cheers

Thank you, Darren. Just one more question; Do you mean that I
need to re-install the Caketalking scrips I already have or do I need to
install an update of Caketalking?

You need to install the caketalking scripts again as, at the
moment you are using scripts for jaws 8.
Cheers

Hello, all.
I really need some help! I did something today that now
I'm not so sure I should have done. Today I downloaded Jaws 10 after using an
updated version of Jaws 8, but when I went into sonar, I got a message
"Unavailabel enterface." Then, when I tried to configure my XP settings to the
new version of Jaws, the items in the control pannel were totally different
than before. So what should I d? Should I uninstall Jaws 10 or should I
update my Sonar and Caketalking? Currently, I use Sonar 7.0.2 Producer with
Caketalking 7. My jaws, (as well as all others windows applications are run
through the low M. sound card, and the music from Sonar is through the High M.
sould card.
If I need to update Caketalking and Sonar, is there a
cost, and if so, how much. Right now, when I want to get into Sonar, I go back
to Jaws 8. I'm really not sure what to do from here. Any help will be
greatfully appreciated. Thanks in advance.
God bless you. Bobby Lusk.
