You can and DropZone, SFZ etc, all understand the .SFZ format.

  You can also do alot with the sfz sampler that comes with sonar.

    Yes, I've been playing with some of the loops, pretty cool stuff.

    But, along with the loops there are actual samples of the drum sounds used, 
    useful for adding variety.
