Important service information:

On Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February 2012, Swanston Street will be closed
to traffic between Flinders and Lonsdale Streets.

Tram services from St Kilda Road will terminate at Stop 14 Arts
Precinct. Trams from Melbourne University will terminate at Stop 8
Melbourne Central.

To continue your journey, consider walking to your destination, changing
to a City Loop train at Flinders Street or Melbourne Central Station or
catching an Elizabeth Street tram.

Footpaths on both sides of Swanston Street will remain open.

There will be an accessible mini-bus available at the tram termination
points for customers with a mobility impairment.

Please allow extra time for your journey.

Tramsformation in progress:

Yarra Trams is renewing tram tracks and constructing the foundations for
two pairs of accessible tram stops as part of the City of Melbourne's
Swanston Street redevelopment.

The Swanston Street redevelopment will include the construction of
accessible tram stops and streetscape enhancements including street
lighting and paving as well as new street furniture.

Temporary tram stops:

From Monday 6 February, tram stops in Swanston Street at Bourke Street
and Collins Street will be closed for upgrade works.

A temporary tram stop will be located at Little Collins Street until
your new accessible stops are complete.
