Conference Sponsorship for people with a disability and their carers

28th to 30th November 2012
ATEND and the South Australian Pathways 11 Conference Organising Committee has been successful in obtaining a grant from the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) to subsidise delegates with a disability and/or their carer to attend the Pathways 11 Conference to be held in Adelaide, 28th to 30th November.
Funding is available to support the participation of people with a disability with conference registration, accommodation and travel as well as their carer. The amount of funding available per delegate or carer will depend on the number of applicants. For carers, the cost of accommodation and conference registration will be fully covered.
To be eligible for sponsorship, you must have a disability or be a carer of a person with a disability attending the Pathways 11 Conference.
Sponsorship funding is limited. Priority will be given to:
 people who currently work in the post secondary education sector; and/or,
 people who support or advocate for people with a disability, in particularly in post secondary education sector; and/or
 current enrolled student at a higher education institution.
Terms and conditions:
 Participants will need to arrange their own travel and accommodation and forward a copy of their receipts to the Conference Organisers, Plevin and Associates Pty Ltd, for part or full reimbursement. Sponsorship will only cover up to 3 nightsâ accommodation. No meals outside of the conference program will be subsidised.
 Funding will be provided within 30 days on receipt of a tax invoice. Please be aware that we are unable to reimburse costs without receipts.
Sponsorship applications close at 5pm Wednesday 24th October, 2012. Please complete the information below and return by email to events@xxxxxxxxxxxxx. For further information about the conference and to view the program please go to the Pathways 11 Conference Website.
