I have picked up a 2 meter 15 ft yagi and some type of HF beam (Mosley?) from
Chip. They are now in my garage.
Let me know if we will use them at Field Day. Bringing the 2 meter beam is
easy, but bringing the HF beam is not.
These have been donated to the club by an SK widow, and will ultimately pass to
a CVARC member.

Some exciting news.
I will be bringing the RACES
trailer! This is an air conditioned trailer
that houses several HF and VHF
stations. The RACES trailer will be home to
the GOTA station, the VHF station, the
talk in station, and the 3rd HF run
station. The two other run
stations will be the Yaesu FT1000 and The
FT2000 and separate ends of the
lot. Along with the RACES trailer we will
also have two extra generators, plenty
of coax and extension cords. I
will be bringing the 50 foot crank up
tower for the tri-bander and a small
tower for 6 meters and 2 meters.
We are down to 1 week left. Is
everyone getting the word out? Can people
please start to email me with your
intentions for operating and help with
set up and tear down. I know
there is a lot of interest but I have only
heard from a few. I don't need to
know exact times but it would help if
we had an idea if you wish to operate
for the morning, all day, all night,
or the whole time. I think it's
going to be an exciting field day this
year.
