Antennas are down at my QTH and ready for the trip to Barre. Field Day is 5
days away. We are looking pretty good and organized. My only big worry at
this time is people? I have heard from only a few club members. If you plan
on being active with Field Day an haven't let me know please chime in. Set up
will begin at 5 pm Friday. I plan on giving a Field Day briefing at 1 pm on
Saturday. I will be starting a schedule for operating this week. If you are
only available to operate for certain times please let me know so we don't
leave anyone out that really want to get on at a certain time.
Some small things to think about... the mosquitos are getting bad and it is a
very bad tic season. Bring bug spray! Does anyone have an arm full of camp
fire wood they could bring to keep the fire going in the large BBQ overnight
for those operating the night shift can warm up cold pizza or a hot dog?
How has the advertising going? Anyone able to get the word out?
