Hiya:I've been moving services around and am planning to finally abandon CA. I'm hoping I can run EIMS, ASSP and Bind (Webmin) on a Gigabit Ethernet with dual 450 mHz processors, 2gb of RAM and a 7200 RPM 80gb drive.
This is a really low-volume setup -- essentially three POP users, no IMAP, fewer than 1000 e-mails a day (mostly spam, about 500 or so CA is catching and another couple hundred I need to weed out by hand).
Should the hardware be sufficient?I'll be doing a fresh install of OS X 10.4.11 and Developer Tools from the install HD.
From my reading, it looks like I should install Perl from ActiveState -- should it be 5.10.1008 or 5.12.1203?
Then I'll download ASSP from the OITC.com site. Any other tips or tricks? Thanks. -- *+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ David M.
