Pretty much but roll a backup anyway (I usually do myself)

Let me check as I want to be sure that all the auto starts and log roll etc will go in without overwriting the config file.

What I would do is copy the config file out do install copy your config back restart and then walkthough the config as the system will autoadd parameters that you don't have so you need to check to see if you want to change any of the new items.

Well I am running on tiger with your release candidate, I want to install the latest release. So I just install the activestate perl and then install to your latest assp over my current assp?

Does the config file change? I got my config just likes I likes it.

If you happy stay where you are. Installing ActiveState will allow you to stay with upgrades.

As you all know the limiting factor has been Perl version on OSX. Well we have found a Perl install from ActiveState (http://www.activestate.com/activeperl/) that will allow you to run ASSP 1.5.1 on Panther and above machines.
