Thank you for the update Dixie and the new contact information. I had heard
that Collindale was contracting with A & B Pools this year. I do hope it will
be a mutually beneficial relationship! Thank you too for your time and
attention to sitting on a board!

I sent this to Mike – but also will let you know. Friends of mine who had
called the number sent out with the membership information got a message saying
that “the phone number was temporarily out of order at the request of the
owner”. So, I’m not sure if something needs to happen there.

As for sending out information – our current plan will be to have our swim team
parent information meeting on Monday May 11th with a rain date on Wednesday May
13th. Most likely we will start at 6 or 6:30 – haven’t pinned that down yet.
Practice begins on Monday June 1st with that first week being a trial period.
We will likely have MI Sports at the pool towards the end of the week for
people to purchase or order suits.

Our schedule is set now and here are the home meets we plan to have:

Saturday June 6th – Intersquad meet – done by 10 am’ish

Saturday June 13th – we are hosting Willow Springs

Wednesday June 17th – we are hosting Village Green

Wednesday July 8th – Purple and Gold intersquad relay meet – done
during normal practice times – popsicles afterwards

We may want to do an evening pool event the week of June 22nd or June 29th –
but since we are looking for an activities planner – this will have to wait.

I can’t imagine that it would be a problem for you to be outside selling pool
memberships on the day of our informational meeting.

If Mike can get John that bank statement from Chase that would be great.
Pretty sure John should be getting those directly, but we do bank with Chase,
so this is a mystery that will have to be solved.

I have attached the contract from last year. I think it just needs to updated
with the proper dates and if you want to have any conditions for other events.
Additionally, you may want to add provisions for City Meet – though we won’t be
hosting again until 2016. This can just become a template from year to year
then.

The League meeting did have some significant outcomes. Most notably to have a
formal presence and a board and to simplify scheduling between the now 21 teams
in the League. As for City Meet however, it was decided to keep it rotating
between Collindale, Westfield and Village Green, and not to have smaller teams
join forces to host at one of those pools.

I think that’s about it for now. Please feel free to contact me if you have
any questions. I am getting excited for the season!!

Hi Heidi,

Hope this finds you great and ready for another great Swim Team session. I so
apologize I just remembered seeing this email. We were trying to get
information out through our HOA annual mailing and then working on figuring out
who was going to guard and clean the pool this year.

We have had some changes to the Rec Board this year. Jayme Harper is our new
Rec Prez. She is cc on this email for you to have her direct email and we
have started checking the Collindale Pool email again at
collindalepool@xxxxxxxxx.

We just recently signed a contract with AB pool services. So a new vendor for
cleaning and guarding.

Cindy Stark is stepping away from Collindale this year so it is just Jayme,
Mike Westland and myself.

Sorry for NOT letting you know sooner. Jayme and I are new to this. Last year
all we did was try to get membership and try to survive. We had hoped this
year everyone in the neighborhood would just have to pay for the pool
but.................. We did inform our community of how things are done at
the pool and we need some community input for 2016.

I sent John Hutton some questions and just realized I should ask you too.

1. Can we send an email out to our past members from 2014 to give them the
date for swim team meeting so IF they are interested this year they have that
information of When/Where and time

2. I had also asked if we find a volunteer if they can be outside the pool
selling memberships during this meeting.

3. I gave Mike Westland a copy of a bank statement from Chase. Mike was going
to give this to John as we hope this is your bank account. If not I will try
to figure out whose account this is as statements are being sent to 3500
Lochwood.

4. We will try to "wade through your contract with the Rec Board. Can you
forward it to Jayme/Mike and me?

Thanks for your time. We look forward to working with you for 2015.

Should you need anything and a phone call is easier my cell is 215-6973 or
225-6814 home.

Dixie

Happy March Mike!

The swim team season is quickly approaching. There are two items of
business that need some attention.

1. I did finally hear back from Village Green. They are definitely
planning on hosting City Meet, so we do not have any significant parking
issues with the construction of the assisted living facility. That being
said, what are the recommendations for regular meets we may host? I am
thinking the biggest conflict might be with week-day meets. If you have
some recommendations, we can put those in our distribution materials.

2. We would like to have our water contract in place by April. So, we
would like to have time to review it, though I don't think it will take
long. We just need to approve it as a board, and to plan for it in our
distribution materials as well.

Much thanks and we look forward to a great season!
Best Wishes
