UBC Campus Accommodations

The Marine Drive Residence has a variety of room types available to the
delegates of Cansmart/SMN 2015.

Marine Drive Single

Private bedroom with single bed, VoIP telephone and clock radio, in a
four-bedroom shared apartment. Guests share two washrooms, lounge area and
kitchen (not equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, etc.).

Marine Drive Studio Suite

Suite with double bed, private washroom, sitting area with desk, VoIP
telephone and TV, fully-equipped kitchen and complimentary coffee service.
Maximum 2 guests per suite.

Marine Drive Two Bedroom Suite

Two bedroom suite with single bed and clock radio in each room, one VoIP
telephone in the first bedroom, private washroom, lounge area with TV,
fully-equipped kitchen and complimentary coffee service. Maximum 2 guests
per suite.

Complimentary high-speed internet access via Ethernet port is available.
WiFi is available on campus and in the lobby of Marine Drive Residence (no
WiFi in the room). Ethernet cable are not provided but can be purchased from
the front desk for $10 each. The "ubcvisitor" wireless network is also
available, free of charge, for all visitors on the UBC campus.

UBC Accommodations Parking

For those who are staying at Marine Drive, they can buy the parking passes
direct from the front desk at the residence special rate of $9 plus taxes
per vehicle per day. They will be given a puck to give them access to the
West Parkade. They MUST return the puck back to the front desk or they will
be charged for it.

Visitors can park in the West Parkade, which is located on Lower Mall,
across from Marine Drive Residence. Monday to Friday, parkade rates are
$1.75/30 mins with a $14/day max. More parking information can be found

UBC Accommodations Rates

The rates listed in the table are:

1) The net rate, non-commissionable, subject to additional 5% goods and
Services Tax (GST) and 8% Provincial sales tax (PST).

These prices are valid from July 10 to July 20, 2015.

To take advantage of these rates, you have to book before June 12, 2015.
