My mom has had epilepsy since her teens.
When I was about 5 or 6 she had a seizure(think blank and drooling not the
fits) while driving.
We ploughed through some poor guys front lawn but I managed to steer us
back to the road and ended up cutting out in a bush at the end of the road.
She quit driving after that.

And stay away from most early access or indy type stuff on steam since
they are frequently experimental and the same amount of care about visuals
and comfort arent quite there compared to bigger titles

Well, the visual cortex interperating images can lead to an attack.  The
cortex relies on images from the eyes, which naturally include things like
your surroundings for perspective.  It stands to reason then, that if
stimulus from a small area within field of view can cause an attack, it
would be riskier if the stimulus is coming from the only thing in your
field of view.
That's my opinion anyway.

Your brain tends to do 2 things for vision other than the basics.
Map an image together, and find patterns.
Those 2 are the biggest issue for VR imo, at least concerning epilepsy.

Again.  I'm no expert.

I would not recommend anybody with a history of epilepsy try VR unless
they have a failsafe plan.
I'm with you on this Rich.
It's not worth having a seisure for a VR experience.

Canal walk,, me and GB went,, it wasn't that big,, it was fun,, and
there were 3 VR stations,, everyone wanted to do this 1 game ,, horror
game,, GB waited a hour in line for that game,, more than a hour maybe,
there are no fighting games though,, but there is a good ST cabinet and a
few other cabinets with a few hundred games on them

Alice has some nice hard knockdown options though so you've got
safe jumps for days. I like the idea of continued pressure as 
opposed to
once off big damage.



I've always liked Leona's character design. Earring seems so
slow whenever I see it which is why I've never thought about using 
it.
Maybe I should watch some vids to see how it's done.

He does seem like he suits your style of play, some nice
rushdown pressure options with those low hops and the stomp mixups.



I think I want to pick up Leona and Alice at some point. I

I noticed it when I saw a Maxima combo where air EX vapor cannon
juggled into super.  I couldn't do it until I watched the vid again 
and saw
"counter" on first hit.

Vice has an any-state airborn attack.
no matter what you are doing, hard knockdown, recovery... it
just gets you.
