In Singapore they'll turn even the shadiest of rat holes into a tourist
trap.

The place smells like puke (fermented beer - all the "low end" clubs smell
like this) and it's 80% trannies.  You can't see inside any of the clubs
from the outside, but you have to pay an entry fee which gets you 1 drink.
It's about R180, and that's a price of a shot Jaegermeister.  To put that
into perspective, that costs about R18 in Cape Town.

I went there the first time out of morbid curiosity.  The second time was
when I took a friend who thought the place sounded interesting.

The Aquarium is OK.  Nothing fantastic but not bad.  They sell Turkey legs
on the bone for R150 a pop.  Didn't check out the beaches but they looked
OK.

The thing about Sentosa is of course is that if you don't go, everyone
will be like "OMG YOU WENT TO SINGAPORE BUT YOU DIDN'T GO TO SENTOSA!?"

I see it's no longer listed as the number 1 attraction in Singapore.

What we did one year was to take a boat from Singapore to the Bintan
Resort in Indonesia.

There's really nothing to do there though besides RnR, and watersports of
course.

The interesting thing is that I'm doing this on an emulator + Windows 10
which automatically adds 2 to 3 frames of lag.  My success rate still isn't
that great, but it's a huge improvement over 0%.
