MGR rising was just a iffy game imo.

Some parts are amazing... but some suck horribly.

Not sure if I am ever going to finish it.

Lol! I've always wanted to watched Prince of Tennis. LOL. That sounds
hilarious!!!

Oh, alright then. Meh, I just don't see the hype in something like Go. I
suppose you need to actually like/play the game to feel the anime.

Then again, this is coming from me, the guy who doesn't find Metal Gear Rising
appealing at all. Played a bit more. Really not my cup of tea. Colours too
dull, I'm not a fan of mechs/cyborgs and the game still isn't visually
stimulating. I 'snuck' past some enemies or 'snuck up' on them, for 'stealth
kills'. What I really meant to say is, I ninja dashed to them while they
weren't looking, did an over the top finishing move and dashed away. -_-

I'll have to reserve further until I've completed the game, I suppose. Perhaps
I should play MGS1-4 just to appreciate the universe first.

Hikaru no Go is pretty tame. If you want over the top anime, check out Prince
of Tennis. The one guy hits a shot that is so powerful,
it goes back in time and wipes out the dinosaurs.

Most of the actual go stuff in HnG is pretty accurate. I mean, not the stuff
about new universes being created, but the general game
stuff like moves, tournaments, titles and all that jazz.

Ok. Just wanted to confirm.

Came about when talking about "Hikaru No Go" and its absurdity, or at least,
that is my opinion on it.

Then again, I haven't played Go, ever.

Star Trek and Magic: The Gathering are just things that go wayyyyy beyond me.

That said, I play Yu-Gi-Oh :-)

Oh, Stu, this weekend it was mentioned that you play Go? As in, the Japanese
board game?
