Good afternoon, everyone.
Forwarding on the message below that I saw on Next-door from Austin Resource
Recovery and also wanted to let you all know that it appears that we have a
neighborhood large brush collection scheduled for April 26. Notice should be
coming soon to your mailbox if it has not already landed.

Storm debris removal update.
<https://nextdoor.com/p/nrpLfb4Z_2wk?view=detail>Many Austin Resource Recovery
customers put in a special request for storm debris collection. Customers that
still need a storm debris collection are asked to set out any remaining storm
debris to the curb by 6 a.m. Monday, April 12 for collection. The high volume
of storm debris material is taking longer than expected, and collection can
take more than a month. Please leave the material out and we will collect it as
soon as we are able. We have now dedicated special crews to collect all
remaining storm debris caused by February’s Winter Storm Uri. The prolonged
extreme weather event created unforeseen quantities of vegetative storm debris.
Here are some other options for storm debris removal:
Set out material with your weekly composting collection: Small branches and
leaves can be composted in your green cart. Branches that don't fit in the cart
(no longer than five feet and no thicker than three inches in diameter) should
be stacked into manageable bundles no heavier than 30 pounds, next to your
green cart. austintexas.gov/composting <http://austintexas.gov/composting>
Set out material with your regularly scheduled large brush collection: Large
brush and tree limbs that are too large for yard trimmings collection are
collected periodically. Download the Austin Recycles app or check our website
for your collection schedule. austintexas.gov/brush

Drop off debris: Austinites can drop off storm debris from the recent winter
storm at the Hornsby Bend Biosolids Management Plant through April 18.
