Good morning, everyone.
I hope that most if not all of our neighborhood now at the very least has
electricity. For those still without, Austin Energy has said that it is likely
due to a repair or something that needs to be activated manually.
As for water, there is no word yet on when we will have running water again. I
have attached a list of resources from CM Casar that has lots of numbers,
lists, and the city’s official recommendations for what to do with regards to
water (drain pipes, leave faucets open, etc.)
Please please please report any water main breaks or suspected breaks that you
see while out on your walks. The sooner those breaks get tended to, the sooner
we can all get water. As of this morning, the map showed zero water leaks in
our neighborhood in the last 24 hours which just does not seem right. 311 has
long waits on the phone but you can also report online at austinwater.com.
I have reached out to several folks in hopes of getting info on water
delivery/supplies.
