Howdy:
Also, recommend reporting this to a Postal Inspector at the Mockingbird Post
Office Station. They are the ones required to investigate mail tampering. It
is a federal offense.

Good morning and thank you for the heads up about this. Barbara.
If you all recall, we had a stream of incidences last fall as the holidays
approached. The perpetrators would drive through in the AM to open mailboxes on
an entire street to make it easier to detect mail deliveries when they drove
back around in the afternoon. I encourage anyone that sees this to please call
it in to 311 to report so that our pleas to the police department have
incidences to back them… especially if it is your mail that has been tampered
with.

While walking the neighborhood this morning around 7:30am, I found mail for 2
addresses (8801 Collingwood and 9104 Queenswood) scattered the the streets
about a block from the addresses. I picked up the mail in the condition
found (some of it opened) and returned it to the appropriate mailboxes.
