Hi everyone,
First thank y’all for filling out the shared streets survey. Your comments
were very helpful. On Saturday morning, City of Austin staff will be at the
corner of Lancaster and Heatherwild drives to receive public feedback on a
potential shared streets installation. There will be coffee and tacos so
please come by and chat with us.
As a reminder, Shared Streets is a new City of Austin pilot program to make
residential streets that lack sidewalks safer and more comfortable for
people walking and kids playing by slowing vehicle speeds. Lancaster Drive
has been identified as a candidate, and City staff would like you to be
involved. Let us know what you think at the neighborhood pop-up and learn
