Thank you Nelly and Paco! It is so helpful to have neighbors who know what is
happening in the neighborhood! ~gail

Thanks, Paco!
They are installing in houses now throughout the neighborhood. Our
installation was a couple of weeks ago. I would call the 800 number below
with your address to see where they are and check your Google Fiber account
online. They sent an email when it was time to schedule.

Did they happen to have any information about when Google Fiber would be
actually installed in homes in our neighborhood? I think I read that some
homes were already up and running. Are there specific streets that are now
installed, and others that are about to be added?
Thanks! ~gail

Neighbors,
I met with a Google Fiber rep today to get an update on the installation
process in our neighborhood. As most of you are aware, this project is
being done in phases and by different contractors. Here is what I found out:
1) Street maintenance - In 4 weeks, they will begin adding asphalt to the
areas where they cut into the street and poured concrete.
2) Sod - In 3 weeks, they will start adding sod around the boxes in your
yard.
3) Coax cables crossing the street at Comburg Castle Way, Comburg Drive and
Vassal Drive - He confirmed that these cables were Time Warner/Spectrum
cables and that Time Warner/Spectrum is responsible for burying or removing
them.
If you have any concerns or complaints, I highly recommend calling
877-454-6959.
Thanks,
Paco

To all those upset about the condition of our streets after Google Fiber
laid their lines across them, call the number below to complain. Different
companies are doing different areas. The other areas I have
ridden through have smooth, carefully done cement lines. In our
neighborhood, the job was done haphazardly leaving holes and sharp, uneven
edges and concrete in the gutters where it doesn't belong. That could be
dangerous for barefooted kids and pets as well as being a tripping hazard
for walkers and joggers.
This is the number Google Fiber posted to call about issues, concerns, and
complaints: 1 877-454-6959 <tel:(877)%20454-6959>. A well-placed word from
our president, representing COVNA, might have a strong impact.
Thanks,
