We have been “skunked” twice this year. Early morning showers with the dog are
always interesting. Used vinegar and water and finished with Dawn. Skunks can
climb fences especially with bushes against them. They love the bugs under the
leaves so we have been better at cleaning up the dead stuff. Also found out
that the skunks can only spray a full load every 24 hours or so. Our best
defense lately is to not let our crazy dog out if she is going nuts hearing
stuff. Love those full moons!
