of the bar that holds the feeders was sitting a female Baltimore oriole. It
was no more than 10 feet from us. We usually see a male or female, or both
almost every year, but never so close. Of course, neither of us had a cell
phone handy so I had to go to Google images to get a picture that looks
fairly close to the one we saw.
