A female hummingbird showed up at our feeder this morning. Problem was that
the feeder had not been filled or cleaned since last year. Jo, my wife,
cleaned the feeder, made some sugar water, let it cool, and put it back out
in less than an hour. I saw it land and feed several times this evening. The
male had obviously shown up because he ran her off. Alan, my son, took this
picture through the glass in purely dark conditions but it came out pretty
well.
